Photo Booklets from Saal Digital

The product itself, I ordered a 22x30 Professional Line photo book with 32 pages, and I have absolutely no complaints. It was everything I expected and more. Despite being exactly what it says on the tin, it still brought a big smile to my face and a genuine swell of happiness to see my own work presented in such high physical quality. There is something incredibly satisfying about seeing your photographs in print, and this book really does them justice. For the cover, I chose the simple black leather effect. It is a classic, understated design that you cannot go wrong with. It looks smart and professional. Again, if I was being picky, I would say that the spine can squeak or make a slightly sticky noise if poked or held in a certain way. However, this is clearly part of the construction that allows movement in the pages, and it does not take away from the experience in any meaningful way. The paper quality is excellent. I selected the standard glossy photo paper rather than one of the higher priced options, and I am very pleased with it. It feels strong and stiff, giving the book a substantial, premium feel. The gloss finish allows for ideal photo viewing, making colours pop and creating a really enjoyable viewing experience from start to finish. Print quality is another strong point. Colours and lines are excellent, and the overall finish looks crisp and vibrant. It is worth remembering that a print can only ever be as crisp as the photo provided. A couple of images do not look quite as perfect as they did on my phone, but that makes perfect sense as they have been enlarged slightly. That is not a fault of the book itself. In fact, I would still far rather look at them on this beautiful physical page than as a digital image on a screen. In conclusion, this is a great product. If you are in the market for a professional photo book, I genuinely cannot see any major drawbacks. The usual price may be a bit high compared to budget options, but if you really care about the product you are getting and want it to be of high quality, then it is worth the extra money. You do not want to be stingy with something designed to preserve memories or showcase your work. As I said before, when I opened the package, I was really happy and so pleased that I followed through with ordering one. I would definitely recommend it to a friend if they were looking for a similar product.

Excellent product and service

Very professional service and amazing quality. I wish I had composed some photobooks sooner. Highly recommend Saal Digital. Delivery from DHL is also rapid and highly recommended for both speed and keeping you informed. Now to do a few more books.

There was an issue with my initial delivery (courier) but when I approached Saal they sent a duplicate item immediately, well done, great customer service.

Once I figured the program I really enjoyed putting this album together. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the Software review was because I count not figure out how to add text to the spine. I was able to access photos from many different sources and that was very helpful since I was making a book for my family. I would defiantly recommend using SAAL Digital! Their products are top notch and the customer service is AWESOME!

Saal professional photography experience has been amazing so far. Web app and software has a bit of learning curve first time but, features are absolutely amazing. Bang On everything

Considering I have ordered a few photo books and only one from Saal, the Saal quality blows the rest out of the water, the software is great, the simplicity is great.

The app was straightforward and easy to use and I am very pleased with the photobook. It’s a good idea for christmas gift or just to keep your memories kept in a book just like the old days.

I highly recommend Saal for creating a photo book. I still cherish a photo book made through their superb design tools, in order to remember a memorable trip to Morocco. Very nice software, not always easy to deal but ignoring the auto features helps and with some experience the final result is very, very good, thanks to SAAL.

Ordered a test book of the basic, was so impressed I got 2 from the professional line!

Had the opportunity to create a professional line photo book recently and I have to say, I was really impressed. The quality of the book is excellent. I choose a metal cover with leatherette which works really nicely. The glossy paper lay flat binding was really great as I wanted to have some photos across two pages. The software was easy to use and my book was with me in no time. Very happy with the results and we treasure it for years to come.
